Small paws, big fun: Puro at the Kempen Dachshund Day
Around 300+ dachshunds, proud owners and plenty to talk about: on Sunday 6 September 2026, the first Kempische Teckeldag took place in Arendonk. A day full of activities, new encounters and a spotlight on these little dogs with their big personalities. Puro was there and looks back on a particularly enjoyable day.
You can never stop talking about dachshunds
At our stand, we spoke to lots of dachshund enthusiasts. We chatted about their dogs’ personalities, their funny habits and, of course, food. Because whilst one dachshund will polish off its bowl without a second thought, another is far harder to persuade.
We also met owners who have been feeding their dogs Puro for years. They spoke enthusiastically about how well their dachshunds are doing on it. Other visitors, on the other hand, recognised the struggle to find the right food for their dog. This proved to be quite a puzzle at times, particularly with sensitive dachshunds.
