On a beautiful sunny day, we visited Vincent Simmer and his wife Anne. On arrival, we were greeted by the enthusiastic barking of their excited Labradors, Sefa and Flo.
Vincent begins to tell us about their beloved Labradors. Sefa is a charming 2.5-year-old female with a beautiful charcoal colour. She stands next to Flo, a gentle blonde who is now 11 years old. Together they make a happy and lively duo, full of love and adventure.
In the living room, a picture of another dog caught our eye. “That's Snoef,” Vincent says with a smile. “Snoef was a beautiful black farm labrador. We got her when she was 6 months old, we still had some things to unlearn her like, for instance, we didn't allow her to lie on the couch like a queen! She reached the respectable age of 15 and now has a beautiful resting place with a memorial stone in our backyard. Snoef was a precious dog and will always be in our thoughts.”
Vincent says that in the past, his dogs struggled with regular periods of thin stools, which was uncomfortable for both the dogs and Vincent and Anne. It was a challenge that called for a solution.
By chance, Vincent discovered Puro dog food, and it turned out to be a turning point. Besides sharing their own success story, Vincent is keen to advise other dog owners. “Other owners I would advise to look carefully at how your dog reacts to a particular kibble,” he stresses. “If you give the most expensive brand, that does not immediately mean you are also giving the best quality.” Speaking from experience, he gives a valuable message for all dog lovers.

Vincent concludes on an upbeat note: “Keep it up and I hope there will be some expansion in the range. Then I can offer variety for our dogs. Although they eat everything I put in front of them anyway, haha.”
