Wet paws and water fun at the Hondenplons in Valkenswaard

Last Saturday, 5 September, it was time once again for the ‘Hondenplons’ in Valkenswaard. At De Wedert swimming pool, dogs were allowed into the water alongside their owners. A lovely opportunity to enjoy a day together that was all about our four-legged friends!

Let’s go for a swim together

One dog jumps straight into the water without a second thought, whilst another prefers to dip a paw in cautiously first. That’s exactly what makes a ‘Dog Splash’ so much fun: every dog enjoys it in their own way. A nice swim, playing together or just taking it easy and looking around from the side. There’s plenty to discover.

Did you come along with your dog this year? We hope you had a brilliant time, full of water fun and lovely encounters. And perhaps, when you got home, your happy four-legged friend was lying there, daydreaming about all the adventures.

From a cosy get-together to the feeding bowl at home

In previous editions, we’ve met various dogs and their owners through Puro. Those encounters have really stayed with us. It’s lovely to hear about your dogs, their habits and, of course, their favourite meals.
